Aneta Volrábová, born in Litoměřice in the Czech Republic, currently lives and works in Dresden.
She studied ceramic design at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and art education at the Palacký University in Olomouc.
She participated in many international art projects in the Czech Republic and Germany, e.g.: Řehsign-Tschechien, Strömungen-Dresden and participated in several symposia and exhibitions, e.g.: Porzellan Symposium-Freital, Alchymystické Litoměřice Festival…
She is an avid traveler and of all her travels, she most values her roughly year-long stay in Shanghai, where she worked as an Au pair with a wonderful German family.
Currently, she mainly works with acrylic painting, watercolor, children’s book illustration, and above all transparent images, the creation of which she came to thanks to studying Waldorf pedagogy in Prague.
In her work, she focuses on optimistic themes, she puts joy into her painting, which the paintings subsequently radiate. A perceptive observer can very easily become filled with this joyful energy.
